Poverello House Volunteers

Poverello House would not be able to offer the wide variety of services it provides without the daily assistance of the wonderful volunteers. The first step to volunteering is attending orientation. Orientations are necessary to familiarize new and current volunteers with the volunteer video, the guidelines to volunteering, the staff of Poverello House, and the people Poverello House serves. Poverello House offers orientations on Fridays at 3:30PM and Saturdays at 10:00AM. After attending orientation, volunteers can contact Jessica Munoz, to schedule a date and time to volunteer. All volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian at all times. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available which include assisting in the preparation of the meal, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, coordinating activities for our clients, assisting in clean up and beautification of Poverello House, and assisting in sorting and distribution of donations. Poverello House accepts volunteers ages 7 and up.
